Czarek, the seal, and the truth
We're in Świnoujście. The Polish Baltic is everything I wanted — cold, rough, proper waves. Today I came back from a swim and found Czarek in his bed, completely still, with a tiny toy seal balanced on his back.
He just lay there. Didn't move a muscle. The seal stayed perfectly in place for at least a solid minute. I think he was showing off. Or maybe he just really wanted to be part of the sea theme.
Either way, he's now honorary Baltic Harbour Seal #2. Sorry, Czarek. You've been drafted.
Also: he didn't even wake up when I came in dripping salt water on the floor. That's dedication.
Anyway. Back to the sea tomorrow. Czarek might join me. Probably not. He's a land seal.
